      Hydrogen production rates in anaerobic photocatalytic reforming of several lower alcohols (methanol, ethanol, n \|propanol, isopropanol) on Pt/TiO\-2 catalyst in aqueous solution have been studied. The relation between the hydrogen production rate and molecule structure of alcohols on Pt/TiO\-2 catalyst was discussed in details. XPS and TPD techniques were used to characterize the catalyst and to investigate the states of adsorbed alcohols. A possible model of alcohol adsorption states on the surface of TiO\-2 is proposed.
