Silica-impregnated Cu-H4SiW12O40 was found to be an efficient heterogeneous catalyst for the tetrahydropyranylation of alcohols. The reaction was very quickly (within 5 second) and the catalyst could be reused for at least 4 times without obviously lowering of its activity. |
